Angus The charge-out rate is $16 + GST per head, and a very small travelling charge (maximum $300 accommodation and travel). This is for a hundred head or more. It is dearer for smaller lots. The Angus calves and bulls are normally branded in March & April, but can be done any time of the year. For beef breeders, registered brands can be made to order, which they can keep to be used from year-to-year. Approximately 150-200 head of Angus cattle can be branded in a normal working day with good facilities.
